Discover the world around you! Take WikiGuide on your next trip and learn about the places and landmarks that you encounter. WikiGuide searches for the articles from Wikipedia based on your current location and reads them to you. As you travel, WikiGuide automatically detects your location and retrieves additional content. Or you can type an address or place and WikiGuide will display the articles based on the location entered. A perfect travel companion!Requires an internet connection to detect your location or to get new content from Wikipedia. However, articles can be read or listened to without network connectivity.
WikiGuide uses the default Text to Speech functionality available on your Android device. You are encouraged to try to different Text to Speech engines (Google and Ivona), voices, and settings to find the voices that are most agreeable.
